Privacy Policy
Bad Monkey apps are developed by Dmitry Alaev. This Privacy Policy explains how our apps and website may collect, use, and protect information. Specific behavior depends on the app and the features you use.
FixCalc
FixCalc does not require an account, display third-party advertising, or track users across apps or websites. Project estimates and shopping lists stay on your device. FixCalc uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate app usage and improve the product. Firebase may process an app-instance identifier, app and device technical information, a coarse region derived from the IP address, screen visits, and events such as calculator starts, completed saves, save-limit encounters, PDF export taps, paywall views, purchase starts, verified purchase completions, cancellations, and restore outcomes. Purchase History is used only for analytics, is not linked to your identity, and is not used for tracking. FixCalc does not send project names, measurements, calculated quantities or totals, entered prices, purchase prices or currencies, saved estimate contents, transaction identifiers, Apple Account data, or raw purchase errors to analytics. Apple processes the optional one-time FixCalc Pro purchase; payment details remain with Apple. When you share or export content, you choose where it goes.
PocketRadar
PocketRadar uses internet access to load radar data. Location access, when you allow it, is used to return the map to your current location and support nearby precipitation features such as widgets. You can change location permission at any time in device settings. Radar coverage and update times depend on data availability.
Information We May Collect
Depending on the app and features you use, we may process information such as device identifiers, app usage data, diagnostics, crash data, approximate or precise location, and advertising-related data. Weather apps may use location to provide forecasts, radar, maps, and local conditions.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide app functionality, improve performance, fix crashes, personalize app content where applicable, measure analytics, and support advertising in apps that display it.
Website Page and Link Measurement
With your permission, we count visible FixCalc page views, the first App Store link activation on an open page, and total link activations to compare material guides. We store only UTC-day totals by app, page pathname and, for total clicks, button placement, plus an allowlisted traffic-source category, within a 90-day aggregate window. Page conversion is the share of measured page views with at least one App Store activation; it is not an install or purchase rate. Repeat clicks do not add another converted view.
We do not store raw analytics events, visitor identifiers, cookies, IP addresses, User-Agent, referrers, URL parameters or calculator inputs in the measurement tables. View and first-click state lives only in the current page memory and resets for a new page arrival; no session or visitor identifier is sent. Cloudflare processes network information for delivery and security; the short-lived in-memory request throttle does not write IP addresses to analytics.
Measurement is off until you allow page views, link counts and traffic-source categories. Earlier permission for clicks or page views alone does not activate source classification: we ask again for the expanded scope. Your allowed/denied preference, scope version and expiry are saved in your browser for 90 days without a visitor identifier. With permission, a source-category enum and timestamp are kept in sessionStorage and used only while less than 30 minutes old to carry the entry category across internal navigation in the current tab. No source URL, campaign name or arbitrary UTM value is stored. Referrer domains and a limited set of UTM categories are classified locally; missing referrers remain direct/unknown. The category is replaced on a new entry and cleared when permission is withdrawn or the tab storage is closed; the timestamp is checked before reuse. Withdrawing permission clears the source context. You can change the choice below or through Link measurement settings. GPC or DNT disables sending. Links work without permission, JavaScript or a successful measurement request. Unrecorded views and quick navigation can reduce measured conversion.
Support Requests
When you submit the website support form, we process the name, email address, selected app, device details, and message you provide so we can investigate and respond. Requests are stored in Cloudflare D1 and email notifications are delivered by Resend. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals needed to protect the form from automated abuse. We retain support records only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal purposes.
Third-Party Services
Our apps may use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, weather data, maps, and advertising. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies.
Advertising
Some apps may display ads. Advertising partners may use identifiers, usage data, and location-related signals to serve and measure ads, subject to platform settings and permissions. This does not apply to FixCalc.
Location
Weather and Earth-related features may request location access. You can change location permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work correctly without location access.
Children
Our apps are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review the request.
Your Choices
You can limit tracking, reset advertising identifiers, disable location permission, or uninstall the app through your device settings. You may also contact us with privacy questions.
